Dave brings both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and a passion for improving lives with financial science to the Gold Medal Waters team. After working at a couple large banks in Pittsburgh and a prestigious investment-consulting firm in DC, Dave decided to move to beautiful Boulder, Colorado to help individuals and their families through financial planning.
Before joining our firm, Dave spent two years gaining valuable experience at a boutique wealth management firm that specializes in helping corporate executives, small business owners, and self-employed professionals to address their wealth management needs.
As Neil deGrasse Tyson always says, “Follow the evidence wherever it leads, and question everything”. Dave lives by this mantra and wholeheartedly believes that utilizing an independent, fee-only, financial planning forward approach is best because it puts the client first.
Dave is positioning himself as a leading expert in the financial planning industry by extensively studying both accounting and estate planning. He thoroughly understands how these tangential professions are integrally linked and how making them work in concert can add tremendous value.
Dave lives in Denver and enjoys spending time outside with his dog, Scout. Yoga, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, rafting, and camping are just some of the reasons why he loves Colorado.
