Matthew is the founder and President of Gold Medal Waters, Inc.  He began his career at the Ayco Company L.P. in New York and furthered his experience at a large, St. Louis based investment planning firm.

Matthew received his BA from Fairfield University in Connecticut and completed post-graduate work at the College for Financial Planning in Colorado.  He holds the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST™. Matthew has also earned the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility.

He has been quoted in periodicals such as Newsweek, BusinessWeek Small Biz, Investment News, Fly Rod and Reel, The Denver Business Journal, The Boulder County Business Report, Caviar Affair Magazine, Physicians Practice, and the Boulder Realtor Review.  Matthew has appeared on KUSA 9 News’ Moneyline 9, and volunteers his services for  Kiplinger’s  ”Jump Start Your Retirement.”

Matthew is a member of the Boulder County Estate Planners Council, the National Associate of Personal Financial Advisers (NAPFA), Coal Creek Rotary Club, and he served as the Head Coach of the Boulder High School Lacrosse Program for 11 seasons. He spends his personal time with his wife and their dogs.
