401(k) Management

You want the best retirement plan for your employees and for you.

But, offering a tax-deferred 401(k) plan is a big responsibility. Simply put, when you implement a retirement plan, you assume legal responsibility for managing someone else’s money. You are bound by the participant and US Department of Labor law to act with financial prudence—careful, thoughtful and deliberate decision-making that benefits your employees. With such a big responsibility, it makes sense that you would look for a trusted advisor to guide you.

That's what we do! At Gold Medal Waters, you will work with an objective advisor experienced in best-practice guidelines for investing contributions and benefit from a conflict-free fee-only approach. What you get is an unparalleled 401(k) solution designed to achieve the results you seek and the peace of mind you deserve.

Plan Set-up and Conversion

Our qualified advisors will help take the guesswork out of investing by working to set-up a plan that matches your particular needs and time horizon. We will educate you about your investment allocation as well as help you efficiently manage your plan.

Already have a 401(k) Plan? We can help you determine whether or not your current plan is correctly diversified amongst asset classes and investments to match your risk tolerance, time horizons and ultimate goals. This helps to ensure that the money you earn is being invested to the fullest extent you deem necessary to achieve your goals.

Investor Education

Many investors base their investment choices solely upon the most recent three or five year returns. Unfortunately these measures are too short sighted and often represent irreplicable success. We will help teach the advantages and disadvantages of different asset classes as well as how each one will contribute to the risk/reward profile of your portfolio. Furthermore we will discuss the important effects of diversification on your assets.

Asset Allocation and Investment Selection

We will discuss your personal goals in an effort to determine the appropriate risk tolerance and specified time horizon neccessary to reach your goals. By quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing particular asset groups we can then help determine the proper asset allocation for your 401(k) plan.

In a competitive marketplace, investment selection is no longer as easy as buying an investment and holding onto it. This buy and hold strategy must be accompanied by continuous monitoring of performance. We offer the tools necessary to provide a due dilligence analysis to help pick your investments.

Quality Management

Our trusted advisors will offer an analysis that helps you make data-driven decisions in order to meet industry regulations and fiduciary responsibility. We will monitor and revisit your 401(k) plan periodically to help you meet your responsibilities.
